I've just started book three now (according to the back of my book anyway, other sources think it's book two and I've read them the wrong way round) and I'm really enjoying that one too. I think it takes a while to settle into Benson's style and the peculiar way in which he treats his characters but it's worth getting used to because they're great reads in the end. Clearly it's a series that grows and I must press on. I have the lovley Black Swan editions too.
